Virgo always seems get the best stories out of me, perhaps because I’ve personally known more Mercury-ruled folks than any others. This month is no exception, so put on your metterforizin’ hat, if you would—it’s the sexy one with wings on, remember?
I tend to tease Virgos mercilessly about their fussy, particular natures. I’ve known Virgos who would bitch for days if a tool were placed in the wrong drawer of the toolbox. Yet the thing I always fail to mention, out of embarrassment or shyness or something, is how secretly proud and envious I am of every single one of you. Your method of living, working, and thinking is completely foreign to mine, but it works. “My” Virgos include Smithsonian-class restoration specialists, accomplished classical musicians, fine woodworkers, incredible artists and designers, and surgically precise specialists in human nature.
In short, the meticulousness with which you go about your art or craft or life is beautiful, and it results in beauty. This month, the Saturn-in-Virgo opposition to Uranus-in-Pisces kicks into full gear. There will be tension. There will be confrontations. No matter what the sign of your opposite number, you’ll face conflicts of method and philosophy—shall we go about this in a precise, logical manner, or shall we take an intuitive leap into deep space?
Heads up, Virgo, and even amidst the changes of a lifetime, remember who you are!

Many Virgos have been contemplating major relationship overhauls. Some of you have already divorced, married, or completely altered the relationship you’re in—but some of you are still resisting. If you’ve been dragging your heels, knowing full well that something has to change but dreading the thought of it, this month will be a roller-coaster ride.
There’s some great romantic energy available, if you’re in a position to enjoy it. If you aren’t, you can still have fun this month, especially by immersing yourself in hobbies or entertainment. Deal with the underlying personal issues, yes—you won’t have much of a choice, actually—but take time to enjoy yourself, too. There’s luck involved.
public life
Busy, busy, busy! Projects that bring you money are a big focus of the month; you’ll have more work than you know what to do with. Other people may be highly unpredictable, though, especially if you have business partners. In fact, you can pretty much substitute “business partnerships” for the love affairs mentioned above, and expect some of the same issues.
If you’re an artist or craftsperson of any kind, though, this is a good, good month. Rewards for past projects will finally begin to arrive. By the end of the year, opportunities for expanding the reach of your services, whatever they are, will abound. Keep at it....
