Okay, all this talk about the eclipses is distracting everybody from what’s really important, which is Leo. Annoying, isn’t it? Even I forgot to post the little birthday-sign tidbits for July, which is practically unforgivable.

Of course, you probably didn’t notice. Whether you’ve realized it or not, when you hear all the astrologers gabbing on about the eclipses, they’re really gabbing on about you anyway. You’re the star of the show, and not just because it’s your birthday.

Both of this month’s eclipses happen in your sign (read about them in more detail here.) You’ll be in a very bright spotlight indeed, at least through most of August, and I’ll warn you: it may get a little hot under all that glare.

Most of the month will have an intense one-on-one feeling. Your hungry crowd will consist mainly of those you’ve become closely connected to, at one time or another—at some point this month, expect to be confronted with past relationships that were once romantic, or came very close to it.

There may be some tension. Past hurt and past mistakes may surface, and you’ll need to deal with them as best you can. For the most part, it’s your hurt and their mistakes that will seem most important, but remember: relationships are always a joint venture. If these relationships seemed hurtfully one-sided, how and why did you cooperate? What did you do to make the situation worse?

Get ready to engage in some sincere, cooperative discussions, especially as the end of the month gets closer. Talks on or near the eclipses (August 1 and August 16) will probably be more like openers, or segues from the standoffs of the past. It’ll take a little while to reach real intimacy; plus, there’s a strong chance of falling right back into the old patterns of interaction.

Be patient and stay alert. Listen carefully and react slowly.

These people are back in your life for a reason, Leo, but it’s not necessarily the same reason they appeared in the first place. Take a closer look this time around, and you’ll see some things you never noticed before.

And don’t worry...even though the eclipses have our attention, it’s you that we’ll be watching.

Good Things: You should have good luck with money this month, if you can call it luck—actually, it’ll be reward for past effort that lands on your doorstep in August. This trend builds and extends in to September. Whoo-hoo!

Sex Life: The first half of the month: you’re all charm and sex appeal, which'll get you lucky, should you find the time. The second half of the month: serious surprises and possible romantic entanglements. Friends can help keep you objective, but these are ultimately your issues to work out.
